Obsession Of The Moment: Edie Parker

I am completely head-over-heels for Miss Edie Parker. All of these clutches seem to be the perfect bag for a night out. Whether simply wining and dining or taking it up a notch and going to some sort of fancy event, these bags were made for showing. Being presented like a piece of art, Edie Parker will definitely be a great conversation starter.

Bring In The Spring

I don't know about you, but when I look into my closet right this moment I see lots and lots of knits, greys, blacks, and heavy coats. It seems like spring has not sprung just yet, judging from this below 10 degree weather. Doesn't matter how cold it gets, I will not put on anything warmer than a leather jacket past April, I just won't!

Anyways, going from winter to spring dressing is a big jump. When the sun comes out, most of us want to jump into some brights and pastels to make up for the horrible, dark, frigid polar vortex that was this winter. So instead of rummaging through your closet to find those colourful spring pick-me-up pieces, make sure they are fully visible at the front of your wardrobe. The thermal sweaters and thick cashmere pants that take up half your closet can be put aside, either on the top shelves, or if you are more extreme, you can pack them up and throw them in a storage closet. (Side Note: if you find a chunky knit that you haven't worn in about 3 months, I am going to take a bet that you will never wear it.) This will really bring out the feeling of excitement that spring is finally around the corner. Following this rearrangement, you will probably notice that you are lacking in one department or another. I would go through and make a checklist of the items that you need more of. Maybe it's dresses, or sandals, or denim cutoffs that are making a killing this coming season. If you need some help, here are a few staples that everyone should invest in before the warm weather hits. (And by invest, I do not mean you have to sell yourself to purchase them)
